They are not 100% reliable media (That's my opinion). One will burn, one wont etc. 100% Burned Sucessfully doesn't mean a quality burn either. PiPo Scan will confirm this. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden use high quality dye, and every PiPo Scan made gives a 95% and above quality burns.

Get 1st class quality media and burn at 4x, I haven't bomb a media in years, all my DVD plays everywhere and I can read my data off a media after being on the shelf after several years. That's my opinion. Okay i understand you, and i will by in the future other dvd's. But then my question agian (on my best englisch pffff).

In het past i had no problems with burning dvd's with copytodvd. The last few weeks ik get the same as the topicstarter. I already bought a new burner, but the problem stays. As you already said, it can be the dvd's. But i use Memorex discs now for some 4 years and i never had anyproblem. So can you give another explanatoin???? 21:19:34 Info Writing speed selected x16,00 I personally burn everything at x4.0 try one at x8.0 if you must, else I suggest a x4.0 burn. I dont think that the writespeed is the problem. I have to correct me, the secound burn has bad sectors at the end of the media.

I checked it with vso inspector. So i burned the 5 files again (the third time), with 12x writespeed.

Again i checked with inspector and again there are bad sectors and they start exactly at the same sector as the second burn! Now i have burned this again (fourth time) but now i used nero 6.6.15 with 12x writespeed. Burn was succesfull and the check with inspector was good, no bad sectors! I think its a problem from copytodvd. This is the log from the media burnt with copytodvd (12x). I'm tired of that excuse that anytime this program fails to write that it's the medias fault, I've used all different types of dvds and it never seems to matter which do what, its seems no one wants to say its the program.
