Need some help Thanks. My sugestion! Remember the application you used to use in your previous version of Windows for tv tuner. For example, I bought from Japan a notebook vaio FW for which I was interested to install Windows 7 Ultimate and came to the same problem of 'sony tv tuner' driver. For me Giga Pocket Digital was the default application in Vista so I started to look for the same app. I did find it in japanese web page for sony's support together with drivers for my generic series of notebook.
In that case it was F series and applications' name 'Giga Pocket Digital Ver.2.0.2.10200_EP'. I don't know if that helps much but it's only an ideea. P.s.: Finding drivers and making it work with applications others than original Giga Pocket Digital, like Multimedia Center, it's another side of the problem. I'm happy it's usable as a network encoder now but would like to consolidate my hardware a little in the future. Do you get the same results using Recorder compared to SageTV? Also does your card show up as SMRT Capture or another name?
