On the shelf tab load shelf and add your shelf_MERY.mel file an altenative is copy the shelf_MERY.mel file to user/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/201x-x64/prefs/shelves then load it from there (using the drop down arrow icon next to the shelves.) 2. Copy images or icons to user/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/201x-x64/prefs/icons (as a matter of zeal i copied the jpgs inside the icons folder then i copied the MERY folder also with the jpgs to the icons folder.) 3. Make sure you save all shelves. This of course doesn’t tell me why the facials tab shows a perspective viewport instead of what i see in the video or gif.
