Thing is I like to see the mirrors folded to really know its locked. The dealer said to ask the service dept to add it to the key fob, upon asking service they gave me some waffle about how the option had been removed in the past but there was a new software update out and they would have to upgade my (1 month old) M3 to the latest software.
